The formula we were using was taken from Sharon Alderman's book "Mastering Weave Structures" so I guess you should also tell the publishers so they can correct it in the next print run!

Sorry to tell you, but you have an error in your formula. It should read (Intersections plus threads in Repeat) below.

S = (T * R) / (I + R)

Hi Dot,
I would guess the farmer who owns those cows knows where that sett is and will be keeping an eye on it!! Cattle are under very tight movement restrictions to avoind spreading disease but of course badgers wander freely.

I'm interested in this issue as the field behind us is used by both a badger sett and dairy cows. I hope that vaccination works, but it is ridiculous that the Alpacas are being ignored.

Thanks again for a fantastic time. It was wonderful to see the animals and have the opportunity to talk to someone so passionate and knowledgeable. I love the yarn and fibre I got, and am looking forward to seeing your new website, and the new 4ply cashmere.

We had a great weekend, interesting outings, lovely people and delicious food.

I think I'd have enjoyed the day out with this group, it sounds like much fun. I'm sure the best company is to be found where people get together to share the love of hand crafts.

I look forward to the advent of your website shop, so I can get a better look at those yarns!

Jayne agrees with Jane: ignorance pure and simple.

I was sternly chastised by a nine-year old for condoning the killing of goats so I could have wool to spin. Yeah, wool, that's what she said.

There were rabid protests on my doll club because of a special Japanese edition of a doll which included a rabbit fur wrap. One person said "Can you imagine if they made that in human scale? Disgusting!"

I had to ask what she thought people wore for warmth before petrochemical derivatives.
