		<description>How about three or four coats of a polyurethane varnish, or ask at the DIY about how to paint or seal wood to make it waterproof -- I&#039;ve used Thompson&#039;s Waterseal on our porches, it lasts through three or four rainy Washington winters before it needs a touch up.</description>
