		<description>They are cute but almost completely nocturnal so there isn&#039;t much chance of seeing one in the flesh! Also, because they are a protected species you actually need a licence to handle them.
Lewis Carroll certainly got the sleepiness bit right. They hibernate November through April and will also go &quot;torpid&quot; at other times of the year if the weather is really bad.</description>
